Kellogg Pulls Ads From Breitbart & Conservatives Respond Well. Just Kidding They Go Nuts And Decide To #DumpKelloggs
Breitbart declares war on Kellogg’s after cereal brand pulls advertising from site https://t.co/JNNWhPUOY7

Bloomberg — Kellogg Co. is pulling its ads from the website Breitbart News, the right-wing news organization whose former chairman Steve Bannon was tapped as a top adviser to President-elect Donald Trump. Brands that advertise on Breitbart have drawn flak in recent weeks, with activists saying the website espouses racist and anti-Semitic views. A screen shot showing an advertisement for Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats was part of an online campaign to get marketers to abandon the site. “We regularly work with our media-buying partners to ensure our ads do not appear on sites that aren’t aligned with our values as a company,” said Kris Charles, a spokeswoman for Kellogg, which also makes Frosted Flakes and Special K cereal. “We recently reviewed the list of sites where our ads can be placed and decided to discontinue advertising on Breitbart.com. We are working to remove our ads from that site.”
If we ate Kellogg’s stuff before, we don’t now. It’s not about Breitbart. It’s about choosing a side. And we will too .#DumpKelloggs

Excellent Trump tweet. Just forgot the exclamation point after “Losers!”

I guess @KelloggsUS would rather do business with the under $30k annual income demographic. Is that good for shareholders? #DumpKelloggs

I guess pissing off 45 million people isn’t great for business, no matter the values. Oops.
PS — Breitbart’s article about themselves is pretty funny.
Called themselves “media giant” and “one of the world’s top news publishers” in the third-person all in a two-sentence paragraph. Have to respect that.
